Open to youth entering 4th – 8th grades, this camp teaches participants wilderness survival skills and independence. We’ll emphasize sourcing and treating food and water in the wild, building shelters and fire, identifying useful plants, tracking and fishing techniques, and primitive tool making. All these activities are planned within a lens of outdoor ethics and Leave-No-Trace principles. Campers will test their critical thinking ability while meeting new friends and gaining useful skills. The camp begins at 9:00 AM and ends at 4:00 PM each day.
