Free Learning Program – Snowbound: Animals of Winter

January 25, 2020 @ 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Free

Migrate, adapt or die. In this film originally airing on the PBS show Nature,  wildlife photographer Gordon Buchanan visits animals that live in harsh winter climates from Norway to the Arctic Circle to Yellowstone. He’ll show us how they’ve evolved by means of fur, migration, body mass and food sources to survive a world of snow and ice.

We ask that you bring donations of snowproof clothing for kids — hats, gloves, waterproof pants, etc.– to support our SnowSchool program, which begins in January and goes through mid March.
