Estuarine Ecology at the Mouth of the Coquille River – Postponed

This field course will be rescheduled for late spring.

The Mouth of the Coquille River in the Bandon area offers a stunning variety of natural habitats to discover, from estuarine wetlands to grassy dunes to rocky shore and more. In this light-walking weekend, we’ll visit several Oregon State Parks and two National Wildlife Refuges. Along the way we’ll learn about the natural systems here, including the geology, botany, birds and other wildlife, plus a bit of human history.
