Instructor: August Jackson
Date: Sunday, June 4, 2017
Location: SFI
Tuition: $60

Enhance your appreciation for our ecoregionís native plant communities by learning how plants partner with pollinators to ensure fertilization and survival of the species. Become familiar with a number of prominent pollinators. We will cover the basic concepts of pollination ecology and develop an understanding of the factors that contribute to our regionís unique assemblage of pollinating insects. Weíll practice simple methods of identifying common genera of both flies and bees as we encounter them in the field and observe their behavior.
