Throw on your snowshoes and discover the world of winter with naturalist Kristi Mergenthaler. Investigate the ways plants and animals adapt to life in the cold and snow. Practice identifying winter plants and reading animal signs. Learn the basics of snow science. Class begins Friday evening with a presentation to prepare us for exploring the snowy world of Mt. Ashland on Saturday.

This class is moderately strenuous, snowshoeing beginners are welcome!
