Expand your foraging skills to include expertise in edible and medicinal plants that surround you. Enjoy making wild weed pesto! In this class, we’ll study traditional ethnobotanical lore as well as current trends and research regarding useful plants. You will learn how to identify common local plants and how to sustainably harvest them. You will also learn some basic medicine-making techniques and leave the class with the start of an edible and medicinal plant journal plus your own tincture.
