We are currently hiring a Youth Education Programs Coordinator and
Youth Program Instructors for our 2018 season. 


Youth Education Programs Coordinator

Youth Program Instructors
This is a seasonal position with multiple facets (or multiple roles and responsibilities).
During the spring and fall seasons, instructors deliver day and overnight (1-3 nights)
outdoor science educational programs serving Pre-K – 12th grade students from
Southwestern Oregon and Northwestern California. Instructors are responsible for leading and educating groups of students throughout the week, including facilitating large group activities, supervising meals and night programs. Instructors will also facilitate student leadership experiences and develop collaborative problem solving skills by utilizing the low and high rope elements on SFI’s outdoor challenge course.


During the summer season, SFI delivers summer camp programs for toddlers to middle school students and wilderness backpacking trips for middle - high school students. SFI’s summer youth programs are designed with an educational and experiential focus for our youth participants.

Instructors supervise middle – high school students overnight, as well as facilitate activities throughout the day for toddlers – high school students.
