Youth Education Programs Coordinator
Mandy Noel, Youth Education Programs (YEP) Coordinator, has the primary goal of offering quality place-based environmental education programs addressing state and national educational standards for local school groups in Southern Oregon and Northern California. Mandy is a graduate of the M.S. in Environmental Education program at Southern Oregon University (SOU). While in graduate school, she led hikes on the Table Rocks, built and maintained trails for the Medford District BLM, interned at the Crater Lake Science and Learning Center, and conducted field trips in the Cascade-Siskiyou National Monument and residential programs at SFI with her SOU EE cohort. Before residing in Southern Oregon, Mandy spent a large part of her life in the Midwest where she was born and raised in Missouri, earned her B.S. in environmental studies from Columbia College, and worked and volunteered for several National Wildlife Refuges, state parks and non-profit organizations, most recently with the Aldo Leopold Foundation in Wisconsin.
